Year 9 Camp Fundraising Efforts a Success

Over the last few months students, parents and teachers of the Year 9 cohort have spent much of their spare time fundraising for their upcoming camp to Moreton Island. After running events such as a Zooper Dooper drive, cupcake drive, raffles at the Charleville Show, catering at Charleville Polocrosse, a scratchy tree raffle, and sausage sizzles outside of Supa IGA, we are proud to say we have raised just over $6000. This is an amazing fundraising effort, and we thank everyone who was involved and made this possible. In particular, Year 9 students would like to thank Heinemann’s Bakery, who generously donated bread for most of these events. We would also like to thank Supa IGA for their donations and for hosting our sausage sizzles, and the Charleville Chemist for hosting our scratchy tree raffle. A huge thank you to all the parents who donated food, scratchies, and their precious time. Lastly, we need to thank the Charleville High School P&C, who not only helped run these events, but also made a financial contribution. The camp will take place in Term 4, with students heading off on Monday 9th October 2017.
