Senior Physics

Senior Physics

As we are close to the halfway mark of the senior school year, I would like to use this opportunity to say what a pleasure it is to teach this group of enthusiastic, talented and hard-working individuals. Physics is not an easy subject, it requires sound knowledge in science and mathematics, along with strong problem-solving, analytical and research skills to do well. So far this year we have covered a range of topics, starting from waves and optics to advanced ideas in nuclear physics. We have been pushing the students hard by exposing them to challenging concepts and tasks similar to first year university level, but these students have responded extremely well.  I am pleased to announce that every single student in the class has passed the subject so far, with two year 11 students topping the class on A’s.  Well done girls and boys!
