Graduating Class 2017

On Friday 17 November, the Year 12 students celebrated their graduation from Year 12 with a graduation ceremony in the school hall. This ceremony not only signifies that the students have made it to the end of 12 years of schooling, but that they have all graduated with either a QCIA ( Queensland Certificate of Individual Achievement) or a QCE ( Queensland Certificate of Education).
The students were very proud of their achievements, as they well should be. To achieve this means that they had to pass their subjects and complete courses to achieve these certificates.
The ceremony was a wonderful morning, full of emotion as the students realised that this is it – the end of their school days and the start of their adult life. Thank you again to all of the parents and community members who turned up to share this special moment with the amazing 46 graduating Year 12 students.
On behalf of the whole Charleville State High School community, I wish this special group of students all the best for the future. I hope that your lives are everything you hope and wish them to be. Remember that “The Sky is the Limit” for every single one of you - take care and have a safe and amazing future!
